Privacy policy

How we process and protect your personal data in accordance with Chilean Laws No. 19,628 and No. 21,719.

At Servicios Integrales de Comercio Exterior SpA (SICE CHILE S.p.A.) («SICE», «we») we respect your privacy and protect the personal data we process. This policy explains what data we collect through this site, for what purpose, with whom we share it and how you can exercise your rights, in accordance with Law No. 19,628 on the Protection of Private Life and Law No. 21,719, which modernizes the Chilean personal data protection regime (entering into force on December 1, 2026 and creating the Personal Data Protection Agency).

1. Data controller

Servicios Integrales de Comercio Exterior SpA (SICE CHILE S.p.A.). Address: Antonio Varas 303, Piso 11, Of. 1110, Providencia, Región Metropolitana, Santiago. Contact email: info@sicechile.cl

2. What data we collect

We process only the data we need to assist you:

  • Data you provide us through the quotation and contact forms: name, company, phone or WhatsApp, email and the description of your operation (product, country of origin and shipment details).
  • Technical data generated while browsing (for example IP address and browser type), logged by our hosting provider for site security and operation purposes.

3. How we use your data

  • Responding to your quote or contact request.
  • Coordinating and providing the foreign-trade services you request from us.
  • Sending you information related to your operation and providing commercial follow-up.
  • Complying with legal and accounting obligations.

4. Legal basis for processing your data

We process your data on the basis of your consent, which you give when you send us a form or write to us, and of the legitimate interest in responding to your request and managing the commercial relationship. We do not request sensitive data through this site.

5. Who we share your data with

We do not sell your data. We share it only when necessary:

  • Operational providers —freight forwarders, customs brokers, insurers and carriers—, only to the extent necessary to coordinate your import or export.
  • Technology data processors that provide services on our behalf: hosting and form management (Netlify), email (Google Workspace) and the embedded map (Google Maps).

6. International data transfers

Some of our data processors (for example Netlify and Google) process data on servers located outside Chile, mainly in the United States. By using this site and sending us your data, you accept this transfer, which we carry out while seeking reasonable safeguards of security and confidentiality.

7. How long we retain your data

We retain your data for as long as the commercial relationship lasts and for the time necessary to comply with legal obligations. We then delete or anonymize it. You may ask us to erase it at any time.

8. Your rights

As the data subject, you may exercise your rights of access, rectification, cancellation (erasure) and objection and, under Law No. 21,719, also of portability and blocking. To exercise them, write to us at info@sicechile.cl. We will respond within the legal time limits. If you believe we did not handle your request properly, you may turn to the Personal Data Protection Agency.

9. Security

We apply reasonable measures to protect your data, including an encrypted connection (HTTPS) and restricted access to the information. No system is completely infallible, but we work to reduce the risks.

10. Cookies

We use essential cookies for the operation of the site and to remember your preference regarding the cookie notice. We do not use advertising cookies.
