Import and export with a fixed price all the way to your warehouse

Importing is what we do: we coordinate freight, insurance, customs and transport in a single quote — from China, Europe (Spain, Italy) or the United States to your warehouse. A single responsible person, without you having to chase anyone.

Single point of contact

A single contact responsible for the entire chain. No more four providers and crossed emails.

Zero surprises at Customs

We coordinate your clearance with vetted brokers: correct classification and an error-free DIN that won't hold up your cargo.

You approve, we execute

You don't need to know foreign trade. We explain the options clearly and coordinate everything for you.

Importing or exporting shouldn't eat up your day

Coordinating on your own means getting caught in the middle when something goes wrong at the port. With SICE, all of that becomes our problem: you have one person who answers for the deadlines and for your peace of mind.

You're chasing the freight forwarder, the customs broker, the insurer and the carrier all at once.

A classification error or an incomplete document leaves your cargo stuck, racking up storage.

When something goes wrong at the port, you're the one caught in the middle: four providers, four email threads.

With SICE

One single proposal for freight, insurance, customs and transport.
Clearance coordinated with vetted customs brokers.

You close the deal; we handle what you don't know

Finding the product, contacting the supplier, negotiating and closing the purchase — you've got that down. The problem starts afterward, with the part almost no one explains to you.

Your supplier's documentation — invoice, packing list, certificate of origin — determines whether you get the tariff reduction and whether the customs broker classifies your cargo correctly.
We make direct contact with your supplier to review every document before shipping.
Since we also handle the freight, we make sure the transport document (BL, CRT, AWB) is issued correctly.
You're free of dealing with what you don't know; we answer for it.

Know the total cost of your import, delivered to your warehouse, before you commit

With the product, the weight or volume and the country of origin, we build the total cost of the operation into a single number: freight, insurance, customs, duties and VAT, and transport to your warehouse. You decide with the full picture, not with a loose freight rate that grows later.

International freight quoted (ocean, air or land) according to your cargo.
Cargo insurance covered under our floating (open) policies.
Estimate of duties, IVA and customs fees.
Domestic transport to your warehouse.
Total cost to your warehouse, in writing: we quote freight, insurance, transport and fees as firm, and duties and VAT as estimates. That way no surprise charges appear on our side.

How we work

To start, we can take on part of your shipments as a trial, before you trust us with your whole operation.

01

Calculation

Quote within 1 business day, once we receive the type of product, origin, weight, dimensions and stackability.

02

The provider

We confirm delivery times and your standing as an exporter for the certificate of origin. We connect you with our agent at origin for swift coordination.

03

Customs and documents

We review the documents and send them to the customs broker for advance customs filing.

04

Logistics

From the port or airport, we coordinate transport directly to your warehouses. We close with an Operating Cost Report and all digital invoices attached.

Why SICE?

01

Deal directly with a partner

You coordinate with the person who decides, not a call center or a different rep each time.

02

Less bureaucracy

We simplify documents and paperwork: you approve, we execute.

03

The whole chain in one hand

Freight + insurance + customs broker + domestic transport, coordinated by one person.

04

Clear price to your warehouse

A single quote with the total cost to your warehouse. No surprise charges on our side.

05

Flexibility tailored to you

We adapt to your volume and your timelines, not the other way around. From a one-off shipment to recurring, higher-volume operations.

06

Network of vetted providers

Shipping lines, customs brokers, insurers and carriers with a proven track record.

How we do it: our network

We are 3 partners. We keep full control of the strategy: everything we offer, we execute through a hand-picked network of providers and agents that we evaluate and coordinate ourselves. You have a single point of contact; the backing comes from all of us.

Freight forwarders

Ocean and air freight for import and export; they quote and coordinate with their agents at origin.

International land transport

Road cargo service, usually from Argentina and Brazil to Chile.

Customs brokers

3 to 4 trusted customs brokers for the clearance of your cargo.

Domestic transport and warehouses

From port or airport to your warehouse (FCL or LCL) and warehouses for deconsolidation or customs inspection.

Insurers

Floating (open) policies with Zurich and Orion for ocean, air and land import and export.

Dangerous goods

Contact with the few licensed warehouses in Chile for dangerous goods (IMO).

Behind SICE there are 3 partners, not a call center

At SICE we are 3 partners with nearly 30 years of experience in foreign trade. We come from the foreign-trade division of Banco de Chile and have worked together at SICE since 2011. Each partner personally handles their own portfolio; you always deal with the same partner, who knows your operation by heart.

We are not a multinational or a call center: we are skilled, hardworking people, available 24/7 when an operation demands it. We take care of the technical side —documents, tariffs, customs and freight— so that you can focus on your business.

Frequently asked questions

We coordinate the entire import or export process for you: we book the international freight, handle the cargo insurance, work with the customs broker on clearance before the National Customs Service (Servicio Nacional de Aduanas), and arrange warehousing and transport to your warehouse. Instead of dealing with four providers, you deal with one person.

For most formal imports, clearance is done through a customs broker. We coordinate that clearance with vetted brokers and prepare the documentation so your Import Declaration (DIN) goes through with no errors or delays.

We move cargo from any authorized port or airport in the world. In Chile, we operate mainly through San Antonio and Valparaíso (sea) and Arturo Merino Benítez Airport, SCL (air).

Yes. We handle ocean freight (FCL, LCL or consolidated cargo) and air freight from China and Asia to Chile, leveraging the Chile–China FTA, with insurance and customs clearance included if you need them.

Insurance that automatically covers every shipment in a period, so no cargo travels unprotected. We handle the setup and the backup for any claim.

Yes. The whole chain or just one part: freight only, insurance only, customs only or domestic transport only.

We reply the same day over WhatsApp. The quote with route, customs and estimated timelines is usually ready within 1 business day of receiving your supplier's proposal.

With companies of any size. We coordinate everything from a one-off shipment to recurring, high-volume operations, and we adapt to your operation whether or not you have your own foreign-trade area.

We charge for coordinating your operation; the price depends on the scope (the whole chain or just one part). We spell it out in the quote, with no hidden charges popping up at the end.

From all of them. China and Asia are our most frequent origin, but we coordinate imports from Europe (Spain, Italy and others) and the United States with the same coverage: freight, insurance, customs and transport to your warehouse.

Yes. We have years of experience with dangerous goods —for example flammable gases and lighters— and contact with the few licensed warehouses in Chile for this type of cargo. We coordinate it with the IMO documentation and handling it requires.

Let's talk about your next import or export

Tell us what you need to move and we reply the same day. The product and country of origin are enough.
